Description: The project is a 3-week service-learning trip to the DR. Students help make over 100 clay water filters, which were distributed to local families in the central part of the country.
We took a group of 10 students to help provide clean drinking water for people in rural parts of the DR. The students raised money to buy 100 clay filters, which we made (a few) and then distributed to 100 families near Moca, DR.
It was a great 3-week experiential learning trip.
