The Three-Legged Stool Approach

We have developed a three-legged stool approach. The first leg focuses on developing Entrepreneurial Skills, the second leg focuses on developing Sales & Marketing skills, and the third leg focuses on Accounting & Finance. Accounting and Finance

Introduction

The short video provides an overview of the courses we provide.  It relies on Problem-based learning methodologies.  In other words, entrepreneurs have real problems that they need to solve in order to successfully launch and grow their business.  The course uses action-learning techniques to help entrepreneurs solve these real problems.  It relies on the concepts of ‘zone of proximal knowledge’ and ‘concrete experiences’ to help you become a better entrepreneur.

There are 3-pillars to this programming or what we are calling a 3-legged stool.

  1. Entrepreneurial skill development allows you to develop your ideas into novel solutions.

  2. Focus on improving your Sales/Marketing skills so you can increase your sales through better more effective communication.

  3. Develops your Accounting/Finance skills, which will allow you to better run your business and improve your profitability.

Entrepreneurship

This video provides an overview of the 10-step DYME process.  It will help you understand the discrete steps that are required as you build your idea into an entrepreneurial opportunity.

The course relies on Action-Learning methods. In other words, you need to actually develop an idea and test it with real customers.

This course does not use business plans or models but focuses on the start-up phase of entrepreneurship.
